Photos from Nigeria
Size: 12×12
I saw these two men working on a wall when I was in Nigeria and I was excited by the color palette. They made me think of a time when a girl who was from Colombia asked me “ Jazmine why do you wear such bright clothing all the time “ and I responded
“Because vibrancy is apart of my culture” . And it’s true from the way that we dress, to the way that we eat and even the way that we decorate .
In addition to being excited by the color palate one thing I really enjoyed while I was in Nigeria was imagining the lives of people I didn’t know. Wondering what they do on a daily basis. What their dreams are there fears and there secrets. The old cliche is true! People are so much more than what meets the eye .
